Your work will directly influence decisions at the highest levels, including Ministers, the Secretary, and the Executive Leadership Team.The Director Government Law role is a prime opportunity for ambitious legal executives seeking to gain experience to step into a General Counsel position. Youll work closely with the General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel, gaining exposure to whole-of-department legal strategy, executive decision-making, and cross-sector collaboration. You will lead the provision of legal advice to the enabling functions with the Department and to the Office of Local Government, including on key Government regulatory and policy initiatives.For more information read the full Role Description: Director Government LawAbout YouYou are a senior legal executive with a proven track record of delivering strategic legal leadership in complex, high-stakes environments.
