Feel like part of the Crew, not just another candidate sent to an assignment and forgotten about.About Our Client: Our client is responsible for electricity transmission and distribution, and provides water and sewerage services to the five main Territory centres in the Northern Territory, including Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, and Nhulunbuy.Our client requires a full-time Contract Manager for approximately a six-month contract. Be part of the Supply Relationship Management team, carrying out the Contract Manager role for General contracts, and providing strategic and tactical contract management advice to the Integrated Works Management (IWM) and Project Delivery Management (PDM) teams.About the Role:Manage general contracts to ensure services are delivered per contract and organisational policies.Assist in implementing and monitoring the Contract Management Framework for IWM and PDM.Support Category Managers with expert advice on contractor and contract performance.Develop strategies to improve contract management performance, supporting operational and financial goals.Assist in drafting policies, procedures, and compiling reports on contract management compliance for management and executive committees.Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers, resolving issues, managing variations, risks, and negotiations as needed.To be successful, you will need:Procurement or Contract Management qualifications.Experience providing strategic procurement and contract advice in a corporate, government, utilities, or construction environment.Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and critical conversations.Senior-level experience in contract management roles.Strong analytical skills, proficiency in contract management software, Microsoft Office, and reporting systems.Highly organized with the ability to deliver strategic outcomes within set timeframes and objectives.Must be based in Darwin.Benefits:Immediate startWeekly payAccess to benefits platform with savings at over 60 Australian retailersCoreStaff values diversity and encourages applications from Indigenous Australians, females for non-traditional roles, and applicants with disabilities.To join the CoreStaff Crew, click ''Apply Now'' to submit your application.Unlock job insightsSalary match | Number of applicants | Skills matchInclude any relevant details if reporting this job ad as fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory. #J-18808-Ljbffr
