Our complete offering is also available at venroy.comRole PurposeThe People & Culture Manager will establish and own our internal HR function. Youll work closely with both store and head office teams to enhance our people experience, manage compliance across Australia and the US, and ensure operational clarity and integrity in payroll, recruitment, and employee relations.This is a pivotal, hands-on role that blends strategic vision with everyday execution.Key Responsibilities:Lead HR operations across store and head office teams.Manage and developa values-driven culture through structure, systems, and communication.Support the continued evolution of roles and responsibilities to maintain clarity, accountability, and alignment with performance expectations.Be the first point of contact for employee queries, performance matters, and internal movements.Help communicate company-wide objectives internally and ensure individual KPIs are clearly aligned with broader business goals.Manage and update employee handbooks in consultation with employment lawyers.Oversee workplace compliance across multiple jurisdictions.Manage recruitment pipelines and support hiring managers with shortlisting, interviews, and onboarding, while coordinating with external recruiters as needed.Oversee payroll and collaborate with finance on approvals and accuracy.Guide the selection and implementation of a future HRIS to centralise and streamline processes.Advise managers and provide thoughtful, strategic advice on people-related matters.Ensure sensitive matters are addressed with care and professionalism.Assist in the design and communication of employee benefits that align with our values and support retention.What you''ll bring:5+ years of experience in HR or People & Culture, ideally within a retail or multi-site environmentExposure to founder-led businesses and the agility they requireExperience working across both Australian and US employment frameworksStrong understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practicesA confident communicator who builds trust and influence across all levelsA passion for creating efficient systems and clear, accessible documentationDesirable:Experience managing or overseeing payroll processesApply via careers@venroy.com.au .
