We occupy four entire levels, plus the tower, all of which are of great significance within the art deco movement and Australia''s national architectural heritage.We are a multidisciplinary practice, home to over 60 practitioners, 20 of which are board registered specialists in the fields of oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, periodontics and prosthodontics.Description:About The RoleA rare and exciting opportunity is available to join our successful dental practice as a Dental Procurement Officer within the General Dental Team on a full-time basis. This role is suited to an individual with prior dental knowledge such as an OHT, receptionist, dental assistant, or a front office coordinator looking to expand yourself in the dental industry. We provide lots of opportunities for training, development and growth within the role, and are looking for a candidate who would love to expand on their existing dental knowledge and contribute significantly to an established practice.Reporting to the Group Facilities and Project Manager, the role will include the following responsibilities:Facilitation of supplier negotiations and management of all supplier agreements.Stock control management.Purchasing of stock for multiple areas of the business.Support the business with organising new product and equipment training.Additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Group Facilities and Project Manager.Skills and Experiences:About You2+ years demonstrated experience in the dental industryKnowledge of dental stock and equipment.High level organisational skills.Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.Strong numerical skills.Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.The upside of working at Smile Solutions:60% discount on dental treatments for staff and their children.20% discount on dental treatments for partners, spouses, family, and friends.Conveniently located in the heart of Melbourne CBD, 5 minute walk from Flinders Street Station!Quarterly staff events and social activities.Seasonal AFL ticket offers at both the MCG and Marvel.A beautiful environment that''s nurturing and supportive.If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please submit your CV and cover letter outlining for us your experience and motivation to work in our team.
