He/She will act as a capital steward and be responsible for the strategic planning and tactical operations of the assets in the portfolio, including primarily - asset planning, annual budget and business plan reviews, Asset Enhancement Initiatives (AEIs) and valuations for our Australia properties.Benefits and perksThis position is based in Sydney and reports to the VPAsset Management based in our Singapore head offices. One of themany benefits is theopportunity to manage high quality assets with exposure to several hotel brands.Role Responsibilities including but not limited to:Reviewing monthly management reports and financial statements.Carry out monthly owners meetings with the property teams in assigned assets.Preparing monthly and quarterly reports for the assigned properties covering asset performance, market outlook, major drivers of past and future performance as well as major CapEx.Reviewing and analyse Annual Operating & CapEx Budgets and submission for relevant approvals.Assist in annual valuation exercise for portfolio, including but not limiting to conducting RFP and managing the valuation process.Working with respective property teams and supporting the Team Lead in developing strategies for each asset assigned to optimize return.Identifying potential AEIs and working on ROI analysis, submission for relevant internal approvals, project team selection and management of the works to be completed on-time and within budget.Liaise with auditors and other external professional advisors on matters pertaining to the assets.Assist or lead in any other projects as required from time to time.6 years of experience in an Asset Management or Hospitality role.Familiar with the market and good knowledge/understanding on various types of lodging asset class.Experience conducting feasibility studies and ROCE analysesQualifications:Real Estate, Hospitality, Business or Finance degree from a reputable university. Additional qualifications such as Masters degree or CFA will be favorably considered.Attributes:Excellence business acumen, passionate with the results with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
