Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets, and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThe successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for maintaining the integrity of all Mine Systems by performing maintenance and repairs of fleet management, voice radios, and associated systems hardware.You will be responsible for:Installing and maintaining VHF/UHF communications and mobile fleet management system hardware and softwareInstalling and commissioning High Precision Machine Guidance Systems and Fleet Management SystemsInstalling and maintaining point-to-point microwave and WiFi mesh systems and associated applicationsPerforming preventative maintenance through regular inspections to ensure equipment meets safety standardsAssisting with mining databases and reportingMaintaining communication and Fleet Management System parts inventoryAbout YouThis role is suitable for a technically minded individual seeking a new opportunity in a mining environment where no two days are the same.
