You''ll partner across functions to deliver sound, timely advice and help maintain a proactive, risk-aware culture.This role is ideal for a compliance professional who understands regulatory frameworks and thrives in a values-led organisation where outcomes matter.Key responsibilities include:Plan, manage, and submit timely community housing regulation submissionsMonitor and interpret changes to regulatory frameworksPartner across departments to implement regulatory strategiesBuild tools, templates and systems to support compliance and trainingMaintain strong relationships with regulators, insurance providers, and internal stakeholdersAbout the teamThe General Counsel & CoSec group ensures robust governance, compliance, and legal management, underpinning Housing Choices Australias commitment to integrity and accountability. The team proactively manages risk, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance to sustain operational excellence and ethical standards. This function is integral to maintaining trust with stakeholders and ensuring that the organisations strategic and operational decisions align with legal obligations and best practices.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout youYou will have:Knowledge of community housing regulations (e.g. NRSCH, VIC Housing Act, WA CHRO)Demonstrated experience managing compliance and regulatory submissionsExcellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to lead compliance projects, develop frameworks and meet deadlinesTertiary qualifications in business, strategy, community housing or compliance (or equivalent experience)Certification in Compliance/Quality Management highly regardedYou must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Even if you do not meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
