They are on the lookout for someone that has passion for commercial fit-outs and wants to grow in their close-knit team. This opportunity will offer you the experience to be hands on, part of the design decisions, drive project outcomes - rather than just being a number in a team.The RoleAs a Senior Interior Designer, you are ultimately responsible for the successful design and documentation of all projects which includes DA approval and tendering drawings ensuring projects are being documented correctly. You are responsible for ensuring these projects are designed within time frame, budget, and most importantly to standards.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsuring your projects are designed to scope, budget, and time frame.Meeting with clients and other tradespeople such as architects or builders to discuss the needs of the client.Use computer applications/design software (such as ArchiCAD / AutoCAD) to create models and visuals.Researching and preparing plans, diagrams or sketches for interior constructions, materials, finishes, lighting and furnishing.Selecting suppliers of materials and finishes.Conceptualize and sketch design plans.Ensuring project documentation and administration is set up completely.Coaching, mentoring, and upskilling your team.What you''ll have to be successful:You will be someone who has commercial fit-out project experience.
