We partner with clients across industries to build, scale, and optimise their Shopify-powered stores and digital ecosystems.As we continue to grow our eCommerce service line, were looking for a Shopify Strategist to join our team and lead our clients to scalable success.The RoleAs our Shopify Strategist, youll act as the key architect of success for our eCommerce clients. Youll work at the intersection of UX, data, CRO, digital marketing, and development to create and drive strategies that optimise Shopify storefronts and maximise revenue. This is a client-facing, solutions-focused role that blends consulting, execution, and leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & GrowthDevelop and lead data-informed Shopify strategies tailored to client objectives (e.g. conversion, retention, AOV, LTV)Conduct audits of client stores (UX/UI, performance, conversion paths, checkout flow, mobile optimisation, etc.)Identify opportunities across themes, apps, integrations, and custom functionalityDefine and present roadmaps for eCommerce growthClient LeadershipAct as the eCommerce thought leader in client meetingsEducate clients on Shopify best practices, tools, and trendsCommunicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersWork closely with Account Managers and Project Managers to ensure deliverables align with strategic objectivesCollaboration & ExecutionBrief and collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to deliver solutionsImplement theme changes within the Shopify theme designer.Recommend app integrations or custom builds to enhance functionality and UXSupport in QA for new builds, theme customisations, and technical rolloutsCRO & AnalyticsUse tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, Triple Whale, Klaviyo, etc, to assess funnel performanceSuggest and run A/B tests to improve conversion metricsMonitor KPIs and report on performance outcomes and improvementsSkills & ExperienceRequired:3+ years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify PlusDeep understanding of eCommerce and digital customer journeysProven experience developing Shopify strategies for growthFamiliarity with Shopify ecosystem (themes, apps, customisation options)Experience using data tools and CRO frameworksStrong client-facing experience and ability to present ideas persuasivelyExceptional problem-solving and organisational skillsNice to Have:Experience working in an agency environmentBasic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/Liquid)Knowledge of subscription-based models, internationalisation, or headless Shopify setupsFamiliarity with Klaviyo, SEO, Meta Ads Manager, and Google AdsWhy Q Agency?Work with high-growth brands and passionate eComm leadersExecute ideas with in-house designers, developers and marketing teamsOngoing professional development and mentorshipCreative, collaborative team cultureHow to ApplyReady to shape the future of eCommerce with us?
