Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$74,095.00/yr - A$86,506.00/yrThe office of Senator Karen Grogan is seeking applications for an ongoing, full-time Media and Communications Officer, based in the office of Senator Karen Grogan in Prospect, South Australia.About the position:This position would support the Senator through the provision of strategic oversight and management of media and communications opportunities across social media, traditional media and stakeholder publications.This role will be responsible for creating engaging content across social media platforms, producing both proactive and reactive written material and building strong relationships with regional and local media outlets across South Australia.The role also includes briefing the Senator on media developments, identifying and leveraging government announcements for media and social media opportunities and liaising with Ministerial and Parliamentary offices on coordinated communication efforts.This position may involve travel to Canberra and regional South Australia to accompany the Senator at events and commitments.
