Our excellent service and accommodation set us apart from our competitors and provide guests with the best in hospitality experience from the moment they walk through the door.The RoleWe have an opportunity for an experienced Shift Engineer or Handyperson to join the maintenance team, reporting to the Chief Engineer. This role requires you to maintain the building, plant & equipment, fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel to the required standard. You will ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and employees.The Successful Applicant Will Be Responsible ForRespond to a range of guest request as a first priorityInvestigate and action jobs assigned by your supervisor in a timely mannerComplete tasks as part of the preventative maintenance programPerform duties relevant to experience and trade and also perform other maintenance related tasks as requiredUndertake general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance programs throughout the hotel including basic plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, and air conditioning service and repairsEncourage the effective use of energy and water resourcesService plant and general equipment as directedThe Successful Applicant Will HaveA technical background and experience as a Handyperson or EngineerExcellent customer service skillsAvailability to work weekends and shift workHold a current drivers licenseExperience in MaintenanceBasic computer skillsA proven track record as a team playerThis role requires rostered shifts.
