Whether youre applying for your first role or youre a seasoned individual, here is a great opportunity to seize and develop your career in the technology industry alongside our network of best-in-class vendors and caring and collaborative co-workers.We have now have a great opportunity for an Account Manager in our computer components business unit.If you are currently working in an Inside Sales role and want to make a career change into sales/ account management, then this could be the role for you.You will have the chance to learn from the ground up as you begin to manage the existing customer base and developing new business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesWith training and guidance, you will be responsible for:Developing relationshipsandgrowbusiness withspecificidentifiedaccounts;Expandthecustomerbasebyidentifyinganddevelopingnewaccounts;Developandmaintainrelationshipswithkeycustomer contacts including business owners, purchasing managers, and sales/ marketing managers;Managecustomer pricelists,includingpricingtiersforvarious levelsofchannel partners;Maintaincloseawareness ofcurrentmarketpricing;Work with customers to assist them to grow their business including promotional or marketinginitiatives, pricingstrategy, strategic/ tactical planning and joint customer visits;Maintain general awareness of thePC components industry including product trends, indirect andpotentialcompetitors,andtheeffectsof externalinfluences(e.g. economic influencessuch as interest rate increases);Managethecustomer order processfromquotation throughtodelivery ofproductensuring adherence to authorisation levels.Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:High School Certificate or equivalent.3+years in an inside sales role or working as a busines development representative within the PC components industrySuperior customer service experienceExcellent verbal/ written communication and telephone skills.
