Join to apply for the Captain, Food & Nutrition role at Summa Health Location: Akron City Campus Position: Part Time, Variable Shifts 5:30am - 9:00pm Summary: Performs various hospital food services duties, including assembling, delivering, and retrieving patient trays, washing dishes, pots, and carts, supporting serviceware, setting up, and serving in the cafeteria. Provides high-quality service with respect to others at all times. Minimum Qualifications Ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Knowledge of and compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations (HACCP). Ability to assemble and pass trays. Helpful and pleasant communication with visitors, hospital personnel, physicians, and co-workers. Ability to interact effectively with patients/customers respecting their dignity and self-respect. Physical ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and lift, push, and pull light to medium objects, with activity mostly on feet. Benefits & Compensation Salary Range: $15.80/hr - $18.97/hr, based on experience and location.
