You will ensure that your research and evaluation will produce outcomes that are useful to clients, practitioners, demonstrate value for funders and stakeholders and can inform advocacy. The role will be responsible for ensuring research and evaluation methods are rigorous, innovative and client centred.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) plans for service impact. This includes developing Theory of Change (ToC), program logic, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and, outcome and experience measures aligned with the Good Shepherd Impact Framework.Develop research and evaluation tools that reflect current and leading practices (data analysis, data visualisation, dissemination of insights) including survey design and analysis.Translate research and evaluation results into actionable insights to inform decision-making through high quality outputs (written and oral). This includes preparation and dissemination of data summaries, research reports, PowerPoint presentations and briefing papers.About YouFormal tertiary qualifications in psychology, social science, social work, social policy, evaluation or other relevant discipline.Extensive experience working in research or monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) roles within or consulting to the community sector, a peak body, government department or statutory authority, with a track record of delivering policy-relevant research.Extensive experience in knowledge translation and producing high-quality actionable insights reporting that can contribute to the effectiveness of services and influence policy.Extensive experience in undertaking quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis with skills in utilising statistical software packages.About UsOur 2023-2027 strategy outlines the world we want to see and our role in advancing it.
