The Actuarial Analyst will provide actuarial, analytical and technical support to the Actuarial Results team.Key Responsibilities include:Support the delivery of:Consolidated valuation results from Consumer, Commercial, Workers Compensation and CTP.Monthly Actuarial Results including accounting journals for FinanceQuarterly and Annual APRA formsConsolidated Actuarial Valuation Reports for AAIRisk Margin and Claims Handling Expense ReviewsActuarial, analytical and technical support includes:Data preparation, validation and analysisDesign or assessment of the reasonableness and suitability of models and results preparedDocumentation of processes, analysis and investigations undertakenPreparation of reports to present results.What youll bringRelevant degree in Statistics, Actuarial, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics and Computer Science related field MandatoryProgression through Part I and II Actuarial Exams DesiredKnowledge of spreadsheet modelling (Excel) and data extraction (SQL or SAS) preferredStrong analytical aptitudeWork as a team member and communicate effectively (oral & written)Can work independently/limited guidance to meet the deliverablesWhat we can offer youSuncorp''s employee benefits are designed to support, empower and reward our people.
