Executive Assistant to CEO and PresidentAs the Executive Assistant to the CEO and President, you will play a pivotal role in professionally managing the office of the Chief Executive Officer and President of the LGA. You will also provide efficient executive and administrative support to the LGA Board of Directors and other LGA Committees.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the CEO and President by managing correspondence, reports, scheduling, and arrangements.Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Prioritize tasks and keep the CEO and President informed on important issues.Proofread and edit reports for accuracy.Coordinate speaking notes and presentations, ensuring timely receipt.Prepare meeting agendas, reports, and minutes from Boards and Committees, including coordinating travel logistics.Communicate with Local, State, and Federal Governments and other agencies as needed.Arrange meetings, follow up responses, and respond to inquiries, ensuring all correspondence is actioned and closed.Ensure all outgoing correspondence meets internal standards.Provide support to other administration roles as part of the Office of the CEO.About youAt least 2 years of experience in a similar role.Relevant qualification in Business Administration is a plus.Ability to coordinate logistics and prepare agendas.Professional interaction with Board members, senior leadership, and stakeholders.Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and correspondence.Attention to detail and confidentiality.Understanding of business systems, records management, and CRM systems.Problem-solving skills and support for decision-making processes.About usAt LGA South Australia, members are at the heart of everything we do.
