This is a client-facing role that requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations throughout project lifecycles.Position OverviewAs Digital Project Manager, you''ll orchestrate website projects from concept to launch, ensuring every project delivers on both creative vision and business objectives. You''ll liaise with the design, development and marketing teams to deliver experiences that balance technical excellence, user needs, and strategic goals. A key part of your role will be managing complex web projects while maintaining high standards for quality and performance.ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Website DeliveryLead end-to-end management of website projects, from initial brief through to launch and beyondDevelop comprehensive project timelines, resource allocation plans, and risk mitigation strategiesCoordinate between design, development, content, and client teams to ensure seamless project flowManage project budgets, scope changes, and timeline adjustments while maintaining quality standardsConduct regular project reviews and stakeholder updates using clear, jargon-free communicationEnsure all websites meet accessibility standards, performance benchmarks, and SEO best practicesServe as primary point of contact for website project communicationsFacilitate project kickoff meetings, requirements gathering sessions, and milestone reviewManage client expectations while advocating for user experience and technical best practicesPresent project progress and recommendations in client meetings with confidence and clarityHandle project challenges and scope discussions with creative problem-solvingQuality Assurance & OptimisationMonitor website performance post-launch and coordinate optimisation initiativesEnsure all deliverables meet Start''s quality standards and exceed client expectationsCollaborate with development team on technical troubleshooting and performance improvementsProcess InnovationIdentify opportunities to streamline project workflows and improve delivery efficiencyStay current with web development trends, project management methodologies, and digital best practicesContribute to Start''s internal knowledge sharing and process documentationManage the client support channel, serving as first point of contact for ongoing client requests and queriesTriage and prioritise ad hoc work requests, coordinating with internal teams for quick turnaroundProvide timely responses to client support tickets, maintenance requests, and technical queriesAssess scope and resource requirements for post-launch modifications, updates, and enhancementsMaintain strong ongoing relationships with existing clients through proactive communication and supportIdentify opportunities for additional services and project work through support interactionsQualificationsBachelor''s degree or relevant experience in Project Management, Digital Media, Communications, or related field3+ years of experience managing website projects or digital productionUnderstanding of web development processes, CMS platforms, and digital project lifecyclesExcellent project management skills with experience using tools like Monday or similar platformsOutstanding communication and presentation abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detailIf youve made it this far its worth mentioning we encourage our people to think weird.
