Our client, a manufacturing leader in the electrical cabling industry, is seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator for a newly created position. Based in the Northern Territory suburbs, they are a great company to work for!Great team environmentRetirement FundFlexible Work HoursKey Responsibilities:Manage, monitor, and support Projects, assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Sales, Logistics, Engineering, and Purchasing Departments to implement current or prospective projects through the sale of products, systems, and services, along with associated functions and responsibilities.Ensure quality service to customers to promote Projects and ensure work is completed in a timely, safe, and environmentally friendly manner.As this is a newly created and evolving position, duties and responsibilities will vary.Monitor project progress.Assist teams with issues and setbacks.Develop client relationships.Meet with clients to understand and learn their evolving needs to ensure our performance aligns with their requirements.Seek ways to improve future project delivery performance.Organize and attend trade shows when required.Attend all company-sponsored training programs, meetings, seminars, conferences, and stock takes when requested.Attend supplier training courses, seminars, or conferences if required; this may involve overseas travel.Ensure all activities and operations comply with applicable laws.Take action to improve or eliminate non-compliant activities.Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental Standards (AS 4801 and ISO 14001), as well as legal requirements under OHS ACT and regulations.Maintain open communication and feedback channels with all employees.Follow up on workplace incidents/accidents and complete necessary documentation.Follow up on Hazard/Near Miss Reports submitted by employees and complete required documents.Perform other duties as required.Experience & Qualifications RequiredEssential: Minimum 2 years in the electrical cabling industry, with management, supervision, and training experience.
