Our goal is to be the best place to work, learn and contribute, and to provide exceptional experiences for our patients and consumers.About the teamHealth Information Services (HIS) at the Women''s covers a range of services including Electronic Medical Record (EMR) support, clinical coding, statutory reporting and data integrity, medical enquiries/release of information (ROI) requests, retrieval of historic medical record for research, and medical transcription (outpatient service).About the roleAs an the Data Reporting Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of Statutory Extracts and mandatory reporting across the Womens and provides expert advice on NWAU (National Weighted Activity Units) to optimize recourse allocation.A regular day will see you:Lead data integrity and statutory reporting within HIS and the organization.Develop the HIS Data team by setting and tracking performance goals.Coach staff to improve specific behaviors, skills, or knowledge.Testing upgrades and modifications.Managing the Data Team effectivelyAbout youYoull bring with you:Bachelor or Masters degree in Health Information Management or equivalent degreeDemonstrated experience managing health datasets in a hospital or healthcare setting, including familiarity with Victorian datasets (e.g., VAED, VEMD, VINAH).Staff management experience within a medium to large complex health serviceAbility to interpret data and develop detailed business cases in support of strategic initiatives.Proficiency in data analysis, validation, and reporting toolsAt the Womens you will enjoy a culture that is collaborative, supportive and passionate about learning.
