Through our range of services, our capabilities are structured to optimize every stage of a project lifecycle from design, construction supervision, commissioning, re-vamping, re-powering, and third-party services with the goal of maximizing performance.The ideal candidate has a demonstrated comprehension of Solar Plants, and the roles of the O&M functionDuties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the failure-free operation of all PV installations assigned to themReview the operation of plant equipment and systems continuously, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems in a timely manner, including identification of opportunities for improvementMaximize the overall efficiency & value through interactions with maintenance teams across the fleetUnderstand and execute dispatch obligations for each resource in line with contractual obligationsBe highly conscious of any impacts of outages that can occur in the context of effective availability and performance requirementsAlways challenge the maintenance team to maximize the plant effective availability; maximize value when accomplishing required maintenanceMaintain a strong understanding of operating contract, operating protocols, transmission and scheduling entity operating handbooks, operating agreements, and any standards or regulations applicable to the generator operator / generator ownerWork with Control Centre to review, evaluate and organize for failure correction to be carried out by the Field Technician.Oversee that documentation and work records are accurately recorded and reported.Responsible for the creation of reports of all PV installations assigned to them.Accurate reporting of the annual maintenance plan (based on checklists, annual maintenance, tickets etc.).Understand and deliver comprehensive information to the customer and to prepare or coordinate documentation of activities learned or performed.First point of contact for customer inquiries with technical-operative contentContact for customer inquiries regarding the distributed reportsIndependently determine necessary and appropriate additional work and retrofitting for assigned projectsCalculation of customer offers for additional work as a result of ongoing O&M activitiesManagement of delivery of larger additional orders to customersCandidates Experience:Demonstrated understanding of PV and renewable energy power plants, EH&S compliance, management, operations, and maintenanceA desire to deliver best practice operations & maintenance methodologyDemonstrated experience communicating with network service providers & AEMOUnderstanding of contracts and demonstrated comprehension of agreement requirementsAbility to demonstrate a high level of commitment to the customers successProven experience in efficiently executing tasks, as defined by a maintenance planDemonstrate strong organization skills with excellent problem solving and effective communication skillsReliable, organized and team focusedAbilities to deep dive into technical issues including root cause investigationsExperience managing third party contractorsOutstanding communication skills both verbal and written in EnglishRequired QualificationsRelevant Safety Certifications (white card)Relevant Technical or Engineering degreeA valid Drivers LicenceEqual Employment OpportunityIt is NovaSource Power Services policy to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
