You will be part of an inclusive and supportive team, reporting to the Training Lead, and will be employed on a permanent full-time basis.We embrace flexible work arrangements, including a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.BAE Systems Maritime Australia (formerly ASC Shipbuilding) has been contracted to design and deliver the world''s most advanced anti-submarine warfare frigates to the Royal Australian Navy. The Hunter Class Frigate Program will create and sustain over 5,000 jobs across BAE Systems and the Australian Defence supply chain over its lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform technical training analysis, design, development, and implementation activities.Develop technical training curriculum and implement technology-based training solutions.Undertake training gap analysis to identify and assess program training requirements and procedures.Review maritime equipment and systems manuals to assess personnel and training needs.Provide maritime technical training expertise and advice to support the program.Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a positive culture.Conduct training design user testing and validate training resources.Share good practices and continuously improve training design.About YouExtensive Defence Maritime technical trade/production experience.Relevant technical trade qualification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and a strong understanding of safe work practices.Experience in technical training design/development or marine technician roles in electrical, propulsion, or hull domains is highly regarded but not essential.We encourage candidates who don''t meet all criteria to apply, as we hire for potential.About UsYou will join a workplace that values your wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion.
