If youre ready to bring your expertise and leadership to a global organization that values innovation and excellence, we want you on our team!About The RoleReporting to the Field Services and Senior Project Manager, this role is pivotal in delivering technical direction and support during critical outages. Youll oversee the assessment, disassembly, reassembly, and condition monitoring of turbine components, ensuring top-tier performance for our clients in power generation, petrochemicals, mining and heavy industry.Your Key ResponsibilitiesLead on-site turbine overhauls, directing disassembly/reassembly and supporting field teams with technical expertise.Conduct condition assessments on turbine components and recommend corrective actions with engineering input.Prepare and review HSEQ documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans and Safe Work Method Statements, and quality procedures.Coordinate outage planning by advising tooling needs, developing schedules, and assisting with execution.Liaise with customers and internal teams, providing technical input during sales engagements and reporting.Support continuous improvement by addressing nonconformances, completing technical documentation, and travelling across APAC as needed.What Youll Need To SucceedQualifications & Expertise:Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent experience.10+ years in technical field roles for steam or gas turbines.OEM-backed training on steam and gas turbines.Deep knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and outage management principles.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.Strong communication and organizational skills.Experience That Stands Out:Managing large, complex outages, including capital upgrades and new equipment commissioning.Expertise in outage planning, scheduling, and subcontractor management.Whats in It for You?Benefits:Job security with a robust pipeline of projects across major industries like heavy manufacturing, mining and power generation.Career growth with clear pathways for progression.Annual salary reviews and competitive bonus scheme.Car allowance and secure on-site parking to support your daily work needs.A chance to work on diverse, high-impact projects that will enhance your skillsJoin Sulzer TodayAt Sulzer, were committed to powering progress for our customers, our people, and the planet.
