We are built on over 50 years experience as industry specialists, and exceptional service is the cornerstone of our business.About the opportunityReporting to the National HSE Manager the HSE Business Partner is accountable for the execution of the HSE culture, strategy, plan and performance across Victoria and Tasmania. This role partners with key Clients and Operational Leaders to deliver best practice health and safety standards and behaviours to promote safety objectives in accordance with the business objectives. Key responsibilities will include:Ensure that critical controls and barriers are identified and implemented in alignment with the Autocare Critical Risk Control Management Framework.Review risk control efficacy by testing that controls are functioning as intended and achieving the intended purpose. Mentor leaders in their Management Verification targets in the achievement of the same.Investigate significant safety incidents as required. Support designing investigation standards and make sure that relevant learnings are derived from incidents. Ensure investigations focus on learning and understanding rather than mistakes or failures.Act as a Safety Differently Ambassador within our workplaces, ensuring that safety work has a benefit in the reduction of risk to the work as done, and is not safety clutter.Engage and collaborate with both workers and leaders as subject matter experts when designing or implementing safety initiatives.Manage HSE response and reporting procedures concerning significant hazards, injuries, and incidents to ensure accurate and timely response and reporting.Implement the Injury Management Process along with complying with, and supporting, the RTW program.Produce knowledge sharing material, including toolboxes and tips, ensuring that all information communicated is based on evidence rather than accepted historical safety approaches, and support the roll-out of safety strategy.Assist with the development of leaders to move away from a compliance focus of ticking-boxes to implementing systems and strategies that enable adaptive risk management.About your experienceWith safety experience within a relevant industrial setting such as logistics, heavy industry or construction, you will be able to demonstrate your strong safety leadership skills across a diverse geographical footprint and multiple work groups.You will be passionate, pragmatic, and resilient in your approach to keeping Autocare Services a safe, secure, and desirable place to work.Key skills and experience:Tertiary qualification on Health, Safety or Environment.Experience in ICAM investigations, Lean Manufacturing, Chain of Responsibility requirements (highly desirable).Extensive experience within transport or heavy industry (desirable).Share the belief that working with people to change perception and work culture can lead to safer working environments.Have a good understanding the principles of prevention and protection and how to implement risk control measures in a large organisation.Can drive initiatives through cross functional teams and drive alignment with key stakeholders.Have strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate safety messages clearly for the intended audience in writing, graphics, and verbal material.Come from a highly complex, multifaceted, and dispersed business, with exposure to working with a diverse demographic workforce.Demonstrated ability to research, investigate and identify core information to solve problems and resolve issues.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to focus on the long-term whilst still meeting day to day operational needs.Have and demonstrate high ethical standards with the confidence to speak up when necessary.The BenefitsWorking for us will put you in a strategic position with your career, with opportunities for growth and development along with financial and non-financial benefits.We''re looking for people who share and live our values of Safety, People, Customer and PerformanceOur culture embraces diversity across our workforce, and we encourage everyone to apply.Closing DateApplications close on 15th June 2025.Next StepsAre you ready to be part of our future?To apply, please click on the ''Apply'' button below and follow the prompts.Home Safely Everyday- Our top priority is getting you home to your family safely every day.How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
