The Preconstruction team is responsible for providing subject matter expertise and assurance of preconstruction projects and services as components of transport infrastructure projects.This role will enable you to have a significant impact on infrastructure projects and drive meaningful outcomes for community within Queenslands Far North. Your experience and leadership will help shape the future landscape of the region.We are seeking a skilled civil engineer with demonstrated experience in project management and supervising a team of project managers and engineers. Working in one of the most unique locations in Australia, this role offers the opportunity to deliver a diverse range of projects in urban and rural/remote environments. You will also provide leadership and mentoring to support the growth and development of graduate engineers within the district. If you are enthusiastic, willing to learn new skills and are a motivated, qualified civil engineer who wants an opportunity to use your specialist engineering knowledge on exciting road infrastructure projects, then we have the job for you.In the role of Principal Engineer (Civil) you will oversee and manage the procurement, administration and delivery of preconstruction activities for construction projects. The role provides critical assurance and coordination functions for ensuring quality documentation and deliverables are provided on time and on budget.
