Your focus will be on category development, trade planning, and driving profitable growth through strong customer partnerships.Youll be responsible for both strategic sales leadership and hands-on key account execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of a national retail and wholesale sales strategyManage top-to-top relationships with Coles, Woolworths, and IGA at a head office levelOversee trade investment, promotional planning, and pricing strategy across accountsDevelop field sales KPIs and support in-market execution via team leadershipIdentify new customer opportunities and lead negotiations to secure shelf presenceAnalyse sales data and category trends to inform account-specific strategiesCollaborate with operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure alignmentProvide regular forecasting and performance reports to regional leadershipYour Background7+ years in FMCG sales with direct experience managing Coles and WoolworthsProven experience in key account management, trade marketing, and national retail executionPrevious leadership of field sales or commercial account teams (even if small scale)Commercially astute with strong negotiation and customer development skillsComfortable operating in lean, high-growth environments where speed and ownership matterHands-on, team-oriented, and data-literate with a strong growth mindsetExposure to grocery imports, culturally focused food categories, or niche FMCG segmentsExperience launching new products into the Australian grocery channelFamiliarity with category management and account planning toolsAn entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build capability around youWhats on OfferA compelling base + performance incentive structure aligned with national KPIsTools of trade, flexible working arrangements, and potential for future team growthOpportunity to shape the retail presence of a globally recognised brand in AustraliaHigh autonomy and direct visibility to senior leadership in a fast-growth environmentA supportive, agile culture that rewards initiative and performanceIf you''re a seasoned FMCG sales professional with a track record of growing grocery accounts and ready to take ownership of a national strategythis is your opportunity to lead and grow with impact.
