Head of Technology Strategy and ArchitectureKohort Partners has been retained on a search for a Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture with a recently listed financial services organisation.You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CIO, with direct exposure to the board. This is a crucial leadership role for a future-focused organisation with a strong 5 year growth plan.Were looking for an experienced people leader, someone who can develop a technology strategy aligned to business objectives but also take full ownership of execution. You bring structure, clarity, and confidence to cross-functional collaboration and can ensure alignment acroltiple departments.You will lead a high-performing Architecture team, guiding the future of enterprise technology and platforms across the business.Key responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of the enterprise-wide technology architecture strategyCreate and ensure alignment of technology strategy with business goals and long term visionPresent technology strategy, architectural strategies, progress, and recommendations to executive stakeholders and the boardGuide the transition from legacy systems to modern, scalable, cloud-based architecturesCollaborate with the CIO and senior leadership team to shape the technology roadmapFacilitate cross-functional alignment and integration across IT, operations, and product teamsBuild architectural capability through mentoring, coaching, and upskillingEnsure architectural decisions support regulatory, risk, and compliance requirementsEvaluate emerging technologies and assess their relevance for business innovationProvide thought leadership in technology innovation, digital transformation, and architecture trendsAbout youHave a high level of emotional intelligence and know how to adapt your approach to suit your audience.Bring fresh thinking and spark new ideas that get others excited about the futureCommunicate with clarity and impact, whether youre presenting to the board or mentoring a team memberCan bring the CIO solutions and collaborate to move quickly and decisivelyHave a natural ability to build relationships and bring people on the journeyAre trusted by peers and stakeholders for your ability to bring calm, structure, and directionBalance big-picture vision with a strong execution mindset and you know how to get things doneCan balance enterprise-wide governance with agility and innovationReady for your next role?
