Were focused on embracing change and celebrating our people.The RoleThe Head of Senior School Wellbeing oversees student pastoral care and day to day wellbeing in the Senior School from Year 9 to 12. They are responsible for overseeing the development, delivery and documentation of the Wellbeing Education Program across the Senior Schools and working day-to-day with the Heads of House regarding matters of student welfare across the Senior SchoolsResponsibilitiesThe Head of Senior School Wellbeing is responsible for the development of a Wellbeing curriculum that:Aligns with the Schools priority around Respectful Relationships and ConsentEffectively addresses the personal development needs and growth of Senior School students by age and is routinely reviewed to ensure effectiveness and relevance to the Senior School student cohortIs compliant with the Australian Curriculum and Child Safe requirementsEmploys evidence-based research supporting innovative approaches to Wellbeing educationKeeps abreast of trends in Wellbeing Education across the sector and around the world, shaping a sector-leading Wellbeing Education program of benefit to students and staff in Senior SchoolEnsures that the curriculum is mapped, age-spiralled and readily available to relevant staff and are properly trained and resourced to effectively teach the programAbout YouAt Haileybury we are seeking a brilliant Wellbeing Educator.
