Based at 36 Booker Street and reporting to the Shift Manager directly, you will be working on a rotating shift roster.The key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Monitor the production of glass bottles in both the Forming, Inspecting and Packaging department;Perform quality inspection checks on newly formed bottles and other procedural checks;Operate computer production systems and interfaces;Assist with job changes and associated tasks;Trouble shoot - assist with general mechanical maintenance & fix minor mechanical problems;Contribute to a safe working environment for yourself and the team;Any other ad hoc dutiesWhat You Will Bring:Previous experience working with a manufacturing environment (preferably glass) and hands on experience operating machinesA trade background is a bonus, however a strong technical aptitude is essentialYou will be fit and healthy and have the ability to work in a challenging environment, hot, dusty and loud!Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure and a good eye for detailHours of work: 5-week rotating roster, days, nights and afternoonsWhat youll love when you join us:On the job development and training.Attractive wages, shift & weekend penalties, uniforms & PPE supplied, uniforms laundered.Good safety record & supportive team culture.Competitive rates of pay and EA conditions.Being part of an organisation that wants to solve problems and make a positive impact for the environment.A collection of health, wealth and lifestyle services and discounts.Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Ready to make a difference?
