You will be responsible for performing service operations including diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting functions, which will result in the successful repair and maintenance of Teledyne FLIR thermal imaging cameras and other Teledyne FLIR products. Under limited supervision, this person will perform set-up and calibration of all premium products and accessories. Repetitive and routine as well as intermediate tasks, using a computer, its peripherals, calibration software and various measuring devices will be performed. Updating of service-related forms etc. will be carried out as required. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the customer service process and continued process improvements. This technician will also assist internal and external customers (via in-person, phone, email, etc.) to resolve service-related issues.Detailed DescriptionConduct routine repair, diagnosis, service, support, and upgrades to all Solutions products.Provide troubleshooting, phone/email support, and repair support for customers.Cultivate and develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel.Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently with little supervision.Maintain and manage the inventory of service spare parts.Technician will also be required to carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the company from time to time.RequirementsStrong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills, proficient with using electronic test equipment as required.A degree or tertiary qualification in electronics or prior work experience in a related field.Fluency in English and strong Communication Skillsoral, written & listening to ensure effective communication with team members, customers, and organizational leadership.Ability to work independently under limited supervision.Strong computer skills (MS Office package).Experience with SAP or CRMs desirable.Please note that only people with the right to work in Australia should apply for this position.Teledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
