With Mercy, you''ll have the chance to make an impact and gain experience that''s hard to find elsewhere.At Mercy Health, it''s all about taking what we have and making it better.To do that, we need you.Join us as at Mercy Health, and help our teams deliver even greater outcomes.About the opportunityMercy Place Montrose is a modern facility providing residential aged care accommodation at the base of the Dandenong in small household style living.Each area houses a maximum of 8 residents with single rooms and ensuites, private dining areas and kitchenettes.You will be supported by our clinical nursing staff to provide all day to day care for our residents.Provide emotional support and companionship to elderly clients.Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.Support mobility and help prevent falls or injuries.Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.Accompany clients to appointments and social outingsEncourage mental stimulation through conversation, games, or hobbies.Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.Promote independence while offering necessary supportWhat you''ll bringYou''re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
