The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Cable Jointer to undertake a Certificate III in ESI Distribution Underground over a four-year program which will enable you to obtain industry skills and knowledge under the supervision of qualified and experienced professionals, while also attending TAFE to complete your certification. The location for this apprenticeship will be based at Leongatha. During the program, you will be a valued member of our team and will participate in workplace and worksite rotations, experiencing a variety of work environments within the electricity supply industry which will enhance your skills and career development opportunities. What Youll Be Doing * Installing, jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables, telecommunications cables and associated civil activities * Adhere to Company Policies, Quality Systems and Health, Safety and Environmental * Procedures as well as statutory requirements * Emergency response on customer distribution, sub-transmission cable assets What Were Looking For This is an exciting time for our industry and we would love to be able to share this journey with someone who is committed and eager to learn. When you complete the program successfully, you will have completed all competencies for a Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Underground. To be considered for this role you will have: * Be 18 years or older by January 2026 * A pre-apprenticeship qualification (Certificate II Electrotechnology) will benefit your application but is not essential * An enjoyment of working in the outdoors * A good positive attitude and a willingness to work as a team will no doubt see you succeed in your new role Why Choose Zinfra?
