The Geelong Clinic is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant to join our supportive team on a casual basis for weekend shifts and some occasional weekday work. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.The Geelong Clinic is a 73 bed private Psychiatric hospital that has recently expanded and offers a wide range of inpatient and day programs supported by an outreach service for individuals requiring mental health care. As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include: Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital and industry food safety and hygiene standardsSelection Criteria: Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain) Volume sandwich making advantageous Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as part of a team Flexible to work a variety of shifts, inclusive of weekends Working with Children Check requiredApplications close: 10 th July 2025For further enquiries: Carmelina Amarante, Support Services Manager.
