Since 1905, Hydro has turned natural resources into valuable products for people and businesses, focusing on a safe and good workplace for our 30,000 employees across more than 140 locations.Job Location: Sidney, OHHydro employees can enjoy several benefits including:Medical, Rx, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending AccountsRetirement Savings PlanEducation AssistanceBonus Plan EligibilityParental LeaveStarting Rate of pay: $33.36/hourShifts Available and Hours: 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMJob Responsibilities:Prioritize safety as the top concern, ensuring all safety protocols, policies, and procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe working environment.Diagnose malfunctions in automated systems, identify faulty components, and repair or replace them efficiently.Understand and modify PLC logic to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.Understand and modify Robot programs to adjust system behavior and optimize production processes.Identify and resolve issues with electrical wiring, sensors, actuators, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.Implement new automation technologies, software updates, and hardware upgrades to improve system functionality.Monitor system performance metrics, identify trends, and generate reports to inform decision-making.Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system configurations.Education and Experience Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment using automation.High school diploma or equivalent required.Technical degree or equivalent to 2+ years of formal technical training required.Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, with 3+ years of experience working with industrial automation components such as Robots, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and actuators.2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC control logic.Experience diagnosing and resolving complex system issues in an automated manufacturing environment.Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals with 2+ years of experience.Proficiency in CMMS software, MS Office, and industrial automation software for documentation and troubleshooting.At Hydro, we care about our People and Safety!Hydro in North America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
