Applications are now open for Zinfras 2026 Apprentice and Trainee Program!Be part of Australias dynamic and evolving energy future and energise your career with hands-on experience, professional development, and nationally recognised qualifications.The OpportunityWere looking for motivated individuals to join our Apprentice Distribution Lineworker Program, where you''ll complete a Certificate III in ESI Power Systems Distribution Overhead over a four-year period.This program offers the perfect mix of practical experience and formal training. Youll learn from some of the best in the business experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting your growth while also attending TAFE to complete your studies.This position will be based at our Mansfield depot.What Youll Be DoingAs an Apprentice Lineworker, youll rotate through a variety of worksites and gain experience across the electricity supply industry. Youll play a key role in helping to build and maintain Australias energy infrastructure by:Constructing, maintaining and repairing overhead assetsOperating tools and equipment used in the construction and maintenance of the networkInstalling and maintaining overhead distribution conductors and cablesInspecting electrical structures and equipmentTesting and verifying overhead installationsAssisting with yard and warehouse duties, administration, ground support, and traffic control (where trained)What Were Looking ForWe want team players who are enthusiastic, hands-on, and ready to learn.
