We work by a strong moral and ethical code to ensure the highest level of care and support is delivered to our Participants, Families and Friends.Requirements for the role: Our dynamic team is seeking to employ dedicated, passionate, caring and enthusiastic Aged Care Worker to provide essential care and support to residents in our aged care facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being of residents, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment across the following tasks:Provide personal care and support to elderly residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming.Assist residents with mobility needs, including transferring to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs while ensuring safety and comfort.Monitor residents'' health and well-being, including vital signs and general condition, and report any changes to nursing staff or supervisors.Engage residents in social activities and keep companionship, fostering a supportive and stimulating environment.Provide emotional support, companionship and reassurance to residents and their families, addressing concerns and promoting a positive outlook.Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary requirements according to residents'' individual needs and preferences.Assist residents by handling errands such as shopping, picking up prescriptions and other necessary tasks. May be required to move in with the resident if needed.Perform housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and vacuuming resident rooms, changing bed linens, and maintaining a hygienic environment.Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and incidents, in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and therapists, to ensure holistic care and support for residents.About the candidates: The ideal candidate will hold Certificate III or VI in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) or relevant degree qualification or at least 1 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
