You will be responsible for general storekeeping and occasionally assisting with manufacturing foundry products. You will report to the Foundry Supervisor.Team StructureOur foundry has four sections: Pattern Shop/Stores, Before Cast, Melt/Pour, and After Cast. Training is provided across all areas to develop your competence in each. We emphasize safety and collaboration within our team culture.Main ResponsibilitiesEnsure work is conducted safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company values.Plan daily production approaches.Follow work instructions to maintain product integrity and meet quality standards.Manufacture moulds and prepare them for pouring.Pour moulds at correct temperatures and clear them promptly.Knockout sand moulds safely and efficiently.Deliver priority castings to the fettling shop as scheduled.Fettle castings to meet delivery deadlines and check for defects.Use hand tools, power tools, workshop machines, and perform manual handling tasks.Pack and dispatch castings as per schedule.Operate load-shifting equipment and maintain equipment condition.Contribute to process improvements and safety initiatives.Support maintenance activities as needed.To succeed, you should:Be motivated with an impeccable safety record.Possess a strong work ethic.Be eager to contribute to a progressive organization.Please note that all candidates will require a pre-employment medical and drug screening.
