Discover Your Next Role As a Civil Planner & Scheduler at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of our Cane Supply & Transport (CS&T) function. In this position, you will work collaboratively with Cane Rail Superintendents, Work Execution Officers, and Engineering Planners to ensure maintenance and project works are efficiently planned, scheduled, and executed. Additionally, you will be responsible for the proficient scheduling and allocation of equipment and resources for various maintenance activities within our Cane Supply & Transport function. This position offers flexibility in location, allowing you to be stationed at any of our milling sites. You could be in Ingham - a charming town known for its vibrant Italian heritage and lush wetlands, the Burdekin region - celebrated for its rich agricultural landscape and friendly community, or Sarina - nestled in the beautiful Whitsunday region, renowned for its stunning beaches and proximity to the Great Barrier Reef. Your Role in Action Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Coordinate with CS&T Civil Execution teams and key stakeholders to develop and implement effective maintenance work plans. Communication & Reporting: Ensure timely and clear communication across teams to support efficient planning, execution, and reporting of work activities. Capital & Improvement Projects: Assist in scheduling and planning for the commissioning of new plant and improvement projects in collaboration with the Capital team. Materials & Inventory Coordination: Support the cataloguing and accuracy of materials by working closely with engineering and inventory teams to maintain up-to-date equipment records. SAP & Asset Management: Manage SAP maintenance strategies and ensure all maintenance activities are accurately recorded in line with asset management policies. Performance Monitoring: Monitor KPIs to ensure maintenance tasks and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals. Continuous Improvement & Reliability: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment availability, reliability, and overall maintenance effectiveness. Technical Support & Innovation: Provide technical advice and promote innovative problem-solving approaches to support system compliance and operational excellence. Your Winning Combination Our ideal candidate will have proven experience using SAP PM for maintenance planning and execution, along with a strong understanding of cane railway operations, maintenance, and execution. Exceptional organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively across teams. A trade qualification and sugar industry experience are highly regarded, along with experience in multi-discipline maintenance within fixed plant or mining operations. Additional desirable skills include SAP functional or master data knowledge, and the ability to plan short, medium, and long-term maintenance schedules.
