We have an opportunity for either a Mechanical or Electrical System Technician, who can form an integral part of our automation maintenance team at Redbank. About the role Do you enjoy being hands-on, working in a maintenance and fault-finding team environment? This could be an opportunity for you. Typical Responsibilities include Participate in the effective and efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all Baggage Handling System equipment. Follow maintenance plans to prevent equipment breakdowns. Troubleshooting malfunctions, faults, jams and breakdowns and performing the necessary repairs to restore full functionality. Participating in a rotating shift roster Your qualifications and experience will include: Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualifications (Essential) Experience in maintenance of equipment, including automated systems, such as conveyor or material handling systems. Experience in mechanical drives, including gearboxes, conveyor belting Post Trade Certificates in associated field such as hydraulics or VSDs Experience working through preventative maintenance schedules Requirement for a current and clear driver''s license.
