About the Role: This is a full-time, permanent position involving the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy vehicles and machinery. Youll play a vital role in supporting operational continuity through maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance . Its a stable, long-term opportunity with genuine career progression (if you want), offering a flexible 9-day roster so you can enjoy a great work-life balance on the island. Youll be part of a highly skilled, professional, and safety-first team that values collaboration, commitment, and community. About You: Youre a reliable, safety-focused mechanic with strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a genuine passion for contributing to a close-knit team that shares Hamilton Islands values. Your skills & experience: Australian recognised trade qualification and minimum 4 years post-trade experience . Extensive hands-on experience with buses, trucks, heavy earth-moving plant, cranes and generating equipment . Current manual drivers licence and HR drivers licence . Ability to obtain and hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) . Forklift licence (desirable).
