The opportunity We are looking for a talented Senior Associate (or an experienced Associate ready for the next step) to join our growing cyber team in Sydney. Working with Stephen Morrisey, whos practice focusses on defence of technology companies and providers, this role is ideal for a professional indemnity lawyer with an interest in the technology sector, or a cyber lawyer eager to pivot into high-end tech litigation work. In this role, youd be working on complex and emerging issues involving technology companies, cyber risk, and liability disputes. The team The team advises insurers and technology providers on complex and high-value disputes, including cyber-related claims. With experience across a broad range of tech sectors, the team handles matters involving contractual, intellectual property, and regulatory issues, offering strategic and commercially focused solutions tailored to the tech industry. To be considered, you will have: Admission as a lawyer in Australia At least 3 years of post-admission experience in insurance, PI, cyber or tech litigation Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills A proactive and commercial approach to litigation Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication If youre ready to bring your PI or cyber experience into the ever-evolving tech landscape, we want to hear from you.
