Secondary Design Drafter - Technical Officer Our client, a dynamic and innovative electricity distribution company, is seeking a skilled Technical Officer - Secondary Design, to contribute to a high-profile brownfield project. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to showcase their expertise in secondary design within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment. Tasks: Produce detailed technical drawings (e.g., wiring diagrams, schematics) to support the implementation of protection and control systems, as directed by engineers Perform draft quality assurance (cross-checking) for other Secondary Designs on an ad-hoc basis. Required Skills: Detailed knowledge of CAD design (or equivalent), electrical networks, operation, and construction plans. Detailed knowledge of the design process, and the design activities undertaken within each function. Detail knowledge of Primary Plant interface to secondary systems. Knowledge of SCADA and communication systems within a substation Proven experience in the power industry Strong knowledge of electrical networks, construction plans, and safety design practices.
