Work with senior lawyers and accredited specialists Close knit, supportive and friendly team Broad and varied matters The Firm & The Role Our client is a successful family law firm that is in growth mode. Due to a strong pipeline of work, the firm is looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic family lawyer at around the 18 months to 4 year pae level. This role will see you work closely with accredited specialists in the firm on their matters but also having files of your own so you can have autonomy and develop your skills and grow into a competent family lawyer. The types of matters you will be exposed to are: Financial Agreements Property Settlements Divorce Surrogacy IVOs Spousal Maintenance Same Sex Relationships Defacto Relationships Surrogacy Child Support You will be responsible for drafting advices, court documents, have client contact, attend court and mediations, brief counsel. In this role you will enjoy high quality work and work alongside experienced family lawyers who are committed to excellence. About You The ideal candidate will have: Around 18 months to 4 years pae experience in family law; experience as an Associate at the Courts will be highly regarded Strong writing and communication skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to manage competing deadlines Be a team player but also be able to work independently Be passionate about progressing their career in family law Benefits & Culture On offer is a generous salary package and a firm that is committed to providing a work/life balance.
