They work closely with clients under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and various Home Care Package providers. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Services Manager to lead the Building Services department in delivering quality jobs and projects to clients. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of our home modification and maintenance services. You will oversee all aspects of service delivery, from initial client assessments to project completion and quality assurance and focus on growing revenue while maintaining competitive pricing and healthy margins. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement : Conduct initial consultations to understand client needs, assess their homes, and determine necessary modifications and maintenance in line with CHSP and Home Care Package guidelines. Estimating and Budgeting : Develop accurate and competitive quotes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to client budgets and funding guidelines. Team Leadership : Manage a team of internal tradesmen (3) and office admin staff (3), fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Project Coordination : Plan, schedule, and oversee all home modification and maintenance projects, including managing subcontractors, procuring materials, and ensuring timely completion. Quality Control : Ensure all work meets high standards, complies with relevant building codes and regulations, and addresses the specific needs of our elderly clients. Documentation and Compliance : Maintain detailed records of assessments, quotes, project plans, and completed works. Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and organisation policies. Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, their families, Home Care Package providers, and other stakeholders. Subcontractor Management : Source, engage, and oversee reliable subcontractors, ensuring they meet standards and safety protocols. Problem Resolution : Identify and resolve any issues that arise during projects, ensuring minimal disruption to clients. Process Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services and processes to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency. Essential Current and valid NSW Builder''s Licence. Proven experience in managing residential building projects, including renovations and maintenance. Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations. Strong organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in preparing accurate quotes and managing project budgets. IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and job management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Current and valid driver''s licence and access to a reliable vehicle. National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one).
