The Opportunity General Manager, Industrial Developments North Drive the strategic growth of industrial developments across NSW and QLD, leading the execution of a diverse pipeline from inception to completion. Leveraging deep industry expertise in development and project management, you will oversee design, construction, and leasing components to ensure successful delivery. As a key leader, you will foster and develop a high-performing team of Development Managers, creating opportunities for challenge and growth. Collaborating closely with the national Industrial team and investment divisionsincluding transactions, property management, and fundsyou will play a pivotal role in unlocking long-term portfolio growth and value creation. How you will make an impact Lead the management and strategic direction of industrial development projects, driving portfolio growth and investment performance. Oversee a team of Development Managers and Assistant Development Managers, fostering a dynamic and inclusive culture while implementing innovative strategies to enhance value for customers, investors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leadership: Guide Development Managers and Assistant Development Managers, supporting career progression and team development. Portfolio & Investment Strategy: Oversee existing industrial developments, ensuring alignment with corporate and client objectives, and identifying value-add opportunities. Transaction & Leasing Execution: Partner with Capital Transactions and New Business teams to implement acquisition strategies, secure preleases, and negotiate leases and rent reviews. Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with major customers, agency networks, and internal stakeholders to support mandate and strategic plans. Project Development & Construction: Lead design, tendering, procurement, cost management, and contract administration for Development Projects. Financial & Performance Management: Prepare project feasibilities, manage budgets, and monitor performance against forecasts. Acquisition & Divestment Support: Assist with investment decisions to enhance portfolio performance, including transactions and asset planning. Market & Competitive Insights: Analyse competitor activity and implement initiatives to drive portfolio growth and innovation. Strategic Leadership: Provide guidance on key projects, supporting the General Manager of Development in executing development strategies. With a strong track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, you bring leadership and strategic agility to every challenge. Your breadth of property knowledge, financial acumen, and feasibility expertise allow you to drive investment success while identifying opportunities for portfolio growth.
