The Behaviour Therapists will work closely with our Behaviour Analysts and Behaviour Support Practitioners and play a vital role in the implementation of Learning and Development programs for the clients. The work is based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support for children in the home, community and school settings. This position will give the suitable applicant the opportunity to further develop their professional skills and experience within the NDIS sector. What you''ll do Make positive and distinct changes to the lives of others by developing and maintaining relationships Implement the Learning and Development Plans provided by the Behaviour Analyst/Behaviour Support Practitioner. Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions Attend family team meetings and agency management meetings as required Use clinical systems to deliver timely and accurate documentation including participant session notes, plans and incidents Comply with and follow all ethical procedures including participant confidentiality Adhere to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements Demonstrate commitment to participant confidentiality The Centre for Positive Behaviour Support (CPBS) is a globally recognised, leading national organisation dedicated to making behaviour support services accessible to all. What you''ll need Professional or voluntary experience supporting individuals with children and young people with disabilities Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Strong time management and organisational abilities A track record of building positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
