Paid professional development About the centre This Centre located in Burwood is brand new purpose built service conveniently located in a quiet residential street, within 900m walking distance to Burwood Station and close to Burwood shops and amenities. The centre provide a nurturing environment where children aged 0 to 6 can grow and learn through play-based learning. Designed by a child psychologist, the centre places particular emphasis on assisting children to maximise their true potential. The service has 4 fantastic locations across the Inner West of Sydney and are continuing their success with the opening of their Burwood Centre! About the role Prospero Teaching are seeking a full-time passionate educator to work within the Baby Room. The educators role is to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes a childs development, growth, and well-being. Creating a safe and stimulating environment They need to ensure that the environment is safe for the child to explore and learn. Feeding and changing Infants require frequent feedings and diaper changes throughout the day. The educator needs to keep track of the childs feeding schedule and follow any specific feeding instructions provided by parents. Monitoring and guiding development Educators need to observe the childs behaviour and development daily and adjust their teaching and activities to support growth. Communicating with parents and colleagues Educators should establish good communication with parents and liaise with colleagues to ensure that the childs needs are met.
