The NDIS Partners in the Community Program (PITC) supports the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to be implemented locally. As an NDIA partner, Northcott will deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service to local communities in Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England, North Sydney, and Western Sydney. The EC approach supports activities that improve the independence and social participation of children aged 0-9 with developmental delay and/or disability. What This Role Offers Me: In this role, you''ll lead a passionate team of Early Childhood Coordinators who work directly with families to support children with disability or developmental delays. You''ll use your knowledge and leadership to make a real difference guiding your team to deliver supports that help children build independence, confidence, and social connections. This is an exciting role where no two days are the same, but every day is rewarding. You''ll be part of something bigger, helping shape brighter futures for young children and their families. What Youll Be Doing As a Team Leader, youll guide and support coordinators to: Bringing your diploma or higher skillset in either Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work or a related field to the workplace. As a Team Leader, youll guide and support coordinators to: Work directly with families to understand their childs needs and strengths. Observe children in their natural environments to assess developmental progress. Develop and recommend strategies that enhance a childs independence and participation. Support families in identifying goals and connecting with appropriate service providers. Monitor outcomes and adjust supports to meet the needs of families and children best.
