Thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces include a dog park and eco park. About the Role The Maintenance Assistant role is a hands-on and hardworking component of our village Maintenance team. Within a Permanent, Full Time capacity you will be reporting to the Facilities Manager, together you will maintain a high quality standard of appearance and condition expected at our Amberfield village and it''s corresponding buildings, businesses, facilities, equipment and grounds. You will be confident in working with a proactive and routine plan, ensuring indoor and outdoor spaces are maintained to provide a pleasant and safe environment for our residents, staff and visitors alike. Undertake regular corrective and preventative maintenance and grounds work. Completing visual inspections of the building and equipment to identify items that require maintenance or repairs. Carrying out minor repairs which may include replacing light bulbs, changing washers and seals, water blasting, paint and patch, assembling flat packs, etc. Completing general garden and grounds duties including the establishment and upkeep of garden beds, weeding, watering, adding new plant editions, incorporating cultural occasions i.e. our Tulip Garden for Floriade. Responding to maintenance issues (including requests and complaints) in a timely and professional manner.
