We now have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Enterprise Platforms & Applications to join Technology Team in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth on a full-time. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Platforms & Services, the Manager, Enterprise Platforms & Applications will lead the strategic direction, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of APAs enterprise platforms, applications, and integration landscape. This role is pivotal in ensuring the technology ecosystem remains scalable, secure, and aligned with APAs mission to deliver innovative, agile solutions that drive business growth, operational excellence, and compliance. By fostering a customer-centric and security-first mindset, this role plays a key part in supporting APAs ability to meet evolving energy infrastructure demands. Key Responsibilities Provide product ownership for enterprise platforms and core applications Lead optimisation, transformation, and integration initiatives across APAs tech stack Drive user experience improvements and platform modernisation Oversee application lifecycle management, release management, and system interoperability Lead vendor partnerships and manage CapEx/OpEx budgets Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, SOCI Act, and industry regulations Support APAs growth and M&A activities through scalable platform strategies Develop team capability, identify talent, and build a strong delivery culture Your background IT leadership, ideally in energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure Deep expertise in enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Oracle, Dynamics) Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Azure), and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) Proven experience in vendor management, digital transformation, and Agile/DevOps delivery Sound financial management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills Knowledge of security frameworks, data governance, and application rationalisation A leadership mindset with a commitment to innovation, safety, and continuous improvement Postgraduate or professional certifications in Agile, Enterprise Architecture or IT Management (desirable Working at APA At APA were committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace where you can achieve your best.
