About the Role: Lead and support the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of anticancer medicines through the management of clinical informatics, medication governance, and quality improvement. Ensuring high standards of care and medication safety for oncology and haematology patients by integrating digital systems, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary collaboration across our Kinghorn Cancer Centre. Drive the development and optimisation of chemotherapy care plans and electronic order sets, providing hands-on support through staff training, protocol updates, and expert guidance as a system super user. Lead as Secretariat and trusted advisor to the Haematology/Oncology Pharmaceutical Review Committee (HOPRC), shaping safe, evidence-based prescribing and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Champion quality and safety by coordinating audits of chemotherapy prescribing, streamlining Individual Patient Use approvals, and guiding protocol reviews in collaboration with the Drug and Therapeutics Committee. Oversee compassionate access and patient familiarisation programs, ensuring timely approvals and seamless stock management to support equitable access to high-cost and emerging therapies. Oversee the High-Risk Medicine Policy for anticancer therapies across SVHS, contribute to incident reviews, and maintain advanced clinical pharmacy expertise to support excellence in cancer care. About You: Current registration with AHPRA as a Pharmacist with no restrictions on scope of practice and available for on-call and weekend work as per roster requirements. Extensive experience in oncology and/or haematology, with advanced skills in electronic medication management systems such as MOSAIQ and a sound understanding of clinical informatics and digital healthcare workflows. Well-versed in eviQ protocols, formulary management, Drug and Therapeutics Committee processes, and access programs, with a focus on improving medication governance through quality improvement initiatives. Highly effective communicator and team collaborator, skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Proven ability to manage complex workloads and competing priorities, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to driving innovation and service improvement.
